S48FC’s recreational program is not your typical rec program. Our program offers multiple fun concepts of the game that keeps our youth engaged and at the same time teaches kids the fundamentals of soccer, skill building, and teamwork! State 48 FC offers programs for ages 3 years old – 14 years old. )
CommunicaTION
State 48 FC uses Team Snap to deliver communication and scheduling of practices, games, and events.
Once the State 48 FC registration form is complete and season fee is confirmed your child will be placed on a soccer team! Please see below for more information on all our recreation programs, which are now available across the valley!

State 48 FC South Recreational League
Jan 1st Kick Off
Practices between 6-8pm
Manzanita park and Laveen School District
U4 (3 and 4 year olds)
$85 PER SEASON
- This group focuses on the basics of soccer such as: Dribbling, shooting, passing, control, and soccer stops.
- 3v3/4v4 games are played on 4×6 goals. Out of bounds is lightly enforced. No score is kept and no goalies on the field.
- Practices are held once a week from Monday through Thursday, at either 6pm or 7pm depending on what works better for the coach. Players will receive a set of S48FC’s t-shirts/jerseys. Medals will be given at the end of the season.
U6 (5 and 6 year olds) &
U8 (7 and 8 year olds)
$95 PER SEASON
- Advanced skills and concepts are introduced in this age group. Balancing, passing, foot-eye coordination, control running, tricks, and defensive skills.
- 6vs6 w/goalies for U6 and 8vs8 for U8. Games are played on a 6×12 goals for U6 and 6×18 for U8. Score is kept and penalty kicks are introduced.
- Practices are held once or twice a week from Monday through Thursday, at either 6pm or 7pm depending on what works better for the coach. Players will receive a set of S48FC’s t-shirts/jerseys. Medals will be given at the end of the season.
- This age group has the ability to move up to our Developmental Program and to play an all-star match at the end of the seas
U10 (9 and 10 year olds)
U12 (11 and 12 year olds)
U14 (13 and 14 year olds)
$98 PER SEASON
- These three age groups will focus on developing a more complete outlook of the game, including formations, tactics, personal and team related skills.
- 9vs9 for U8, and 8vs8 for U12, and U14 (all 3 with goalkeepers). Games are played on full size goals. Score is kept and penalty kicks are introduced.
- Practices are held once or twice a week from Monday through Thursday, at either 6pm or 7pm depending on what works better for the coach. Players will receive a set of S48FC’s t-shirts/jerseys. Medals will be given at the end of the season.
- This age group has the ability to move up to our Developmental Program and to play an all-star match at the end of the season.
