Sporting Arizona & State 48 FC switch to Admiral®
UPSL Premier team Sporting Arizona and UPSL Division 1 team SAFC both playing in the UPSL Arizona Conference together with their affiliated youth club State 48 FC have announced that they have chosen the Iconic British soccer brand Admiral®, to supply custom bespoke technical kit and merchandise in a multi-year deal.
“What Sporting Arizona & State 48 FC wanted was something totally unique, that told the clubs story and reflected its culture and roots in Arizona” said Paul Hamburger, CEO of Admiral Sports. “What we were able to deliver is something that’s never been seen before and that is exclusive to the club.”
“We were looking in the last year for a new supplier, partly because of logistical issues with getting uniforms on time,” said President and owner of Sporting Arizona Gennaro Buonocore, “We needed a North American-based manufacturer who could deliver and also needed kits that reflect our club’s personality and brand.”
The Pro and Youth Club’s kits were designed by the club online using Admiral’s new C3D software, a powerful 3D kit designer that allows clubs to create and design their own team kit online in minutes for production in Admiral’s factory.
State 48 FC are the affiliated youth club to Sporting Arizona. The youth club offers development programs, teaching kids the fundamentals of soccer. In addition to a competitive program with teams competing at various levels in Arizona State Leagues and many tournaments throughout the season. Players have the opportunity to advance to the SAFC and Sporting Arizona teams.
“Other brands limited our design options, selection of colors and logos. Admiral gave us unlimited designs, colors and logos so we could make a truly unique kit for our players & fans” said Katie Valenzuela Co-Founder at State 48 FC.
Controversial at first, Admiral changed football forever with bold designs and branding that pioneered the global team-wear market. Worn by legends Pele, Maradona & Cruyff and designed by legends too (Ralph Lauren designed the Admiral kit worn by the New York Cosmos). Admiral supplied all indoor soccer teams in the USA and most of the outdoor teams including; Seattle Sounders, Vancouver Whitecaps, NY Cosmos and Tampa Bay Rowdies. The brand is most famous for supplying the England national team, Manchester United, Tottenham and most of the EPL.
The new Sporting Arizona & State 48 FC kits will be on sale at games and online in the next few weeks.
