Coach Rogelio Aragon reports that the State 48 FC 2013 Black team had truly outstanding performance on Friday night against a high caliber team. Rogelio commented “We had a tremendous offensive attack and recorded 20 shots on goal, spaced the field very well and distributed the ball very accurately – it was a high intensity game that went back and forth. Great offensive effort from Khristopher Aragon, Enzo Villafana, Alexis Lugo & Alex Trejo. Great midfield control & passing distribution from Adrian Guzman, Gavin Comer, & Stanley Dovico. The solid defensive effort was led by Donovan Siercke, Angel Barajas, Liliana Rivera & Vincent Calderon, with outstanding goalkeeping from Carlos Medina. I am extremely proud of how they played!”
Another notable mention for the State 48FC 2013 Black team: Khristopher Aragon received the ’Principal’s Pride’ Award for having straight A’s for the second quarter of the year – congratulations Kristopher – we are all very proud of you!
The State 48 FC 2015 / 2016 Black team (Verrado) finished in second place in the Silver bracket of the Sandsharks Invitational tournament. Enzo Altomare celebrated his 8th birthday on the field by scoring two goals, one of which came directly from a corner kick – an impressive ‘Olimpico’! Coach Alessio Altomare said that it was another very good performance from the team. Well done and congratulations to all of our State 48 FC teams!
