Coach Alessio Altomare said “The State 48 FC 2015 Boys Elite team captured the Championship at the Desert Classic Tournament with an outstanding performance across the board. Four games, four wins, 35 goals scored and only 2 conceded. Beyond the results, the biggest takeaway was the growth in how we approached each game. The boys played for one another, supported each other in every moment and truly showed up as a team. And when we showed up, we delivered.
Special shoutout to our goalkeepers Wyatt Bridge and Adriel Diaz, who combined for two clean sheets in four matches. Our defensive group, led by captain Luis Diaz alongside Juan Chavez, Sergio Villa and Edaen Manuel impressed with their composure and ability to build out from the back. In the midfield, Joshua Madrigal, Emiliano Martinez, and Jayden Gonzalez were outstanding in transition, setting the tempo and linking play. Out wide and cutting inside, Enzo Altomare, Kamron Lang, Jose Flores, and Jacob Gutierrez provided creativity, width and danger in multiple ways. Up top, striker Kade Brannon was a constant threat, combining speed and power while scoring some truly beautiful goals. Coach couldn’t be more proud of this group – great performances, great attitude and a great team effort!”
Coach Armando Velasco said “The State 48 FC 2013 / 2014 Girls Black (Verrado) team had a great weekend, winning the Desert Classic Tournament Championship!
