In the second game we drew 0-0; we were tested, physically and mentally, from beginning to end in one of the toughest battles we have encountered yet. Over the weekend, our attack was led by Ricardo Lemus (2 goals), Mateo Cisneros (2 goals), Hector Garcia (1 goal), Jacob Sahagun (1 goal) and Daniel Gonzalez, who displayed great fire power and put some great pressure on our opponents. Our midfield was led by Gavin Hansen, Adrian Guzman, Khristopher Aragon, Hector Garcia, William Zaragoza, Alexis Lugo and Hector Roman, who all had great energy and non-stop hustle. Jacob Sahagun and Abraham Loera always bring great velocity, vision and toughness to every single game. Our defense, marshaled by Ismael Alcala, Daniel Holmedo, Liliana Rivera, Kovin Munoz and Eli Martinez was truly extraordinary! Goalkeeper Nathan Torres posted two shutouts and had a crucial, game saving block in the second game to preserve the tie. A player who really stood out and made his presence felt was Ismael Alcala. He is truly a impressive captain and leader for our team who sets the example in every game.
