State 48 FC recently hosted US Women’s National Team star Jessica McDonald for a personal appearance and speaking engagement. Jessica is an Arizona native who is one of the most decorated and accomplished athletes in the history of the state – her soccer honors include: numerous state and regional championships as a youth club soccer player; Phoenix College All-American, NJC ‘Player of the Year’ and Athletic Hall of Fame inductee; 2 time NCAA National Champions with the University of North Carolina; 3 time professional NWSL Champions and finals ‘Most Valuable Player’ award and US Women’s National Team World Cup Champions in 2019. We are extremely grateful to Jessica for sharing her life’s journey with us, to include her experiences as a youth, collegiate and professional athlete with many of our State 48 FC players, coaches and parents in what was a tremendous evening!
