Goalkeeper Sebastien Gonzalez was excellent in the net, with Liliana Rivera, Vincent Calderon and Noah Ayana leading the defensive effort, and Adrian Guzman controlling the midfield. The S48FC ‘15/’16 Verrado team were just as impressive, winning the tournament in dominating fashion by posting three victories while scoring 19 goals. S48FC ’16 went undefeated in winning the Kick For The Cure Tournament Championship as well with a strong defensive display. S48FC ’08 Boys Black were finalists for the tournament championship, and although they lost the close match 1-0, their performance was superb, outshooting the opposition by a wide margin with their entertaining brand of possession based, attacking soccer.
